The NextGen2019 Award Certificate Michael Odidi

CeBER is proud of all the 14 students who created video presentations for this conference.  These people all did a great job of using this format to present aspects of their work.  We are thrilled that Michael was chosen for the runner-up award - richly deserved!  What a great way to "attend" a conference without a big carbon footprint.

"The University of Queensland’s Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMI) is a world-leading research institute committed to developing knowledge-based solutions to the sustainability challenges of the global resource industry, and to training the next generation of industry and community leaders.

The annual conference organised by SMI’s Higher Degree by Research students is set to be bigger than ever in 2019 with delegates attending from a number of international universities. This free, one day conference provides students with the opportunity to showcase their research and network with academics and industry professionals.

It is an opportunity to share ideas and meet students committed to achieving sustainability in the resource industry."
