Are you currently completing a BSc Honours in Microbiology or a BSc in Chemical Engineering? Do you want to contribute to really worthwhile research, towards mitigating climate change and producing value with a negligible ecological footprint? Then this is the project for you!

Thanos Kotsiopoulos is now the Deputy Director of CeBER, coordinating our research teams for good collaboration as our multi-talented researchers tackle our portfolio of projects.

CeBER has now had three weeks' to get used to sharing our Director with the whole of UCT. On 01 August Sue Harrison began in earnest with the momentous task of Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Internationalisation here at UCT.

At CeBER we are thrilled that Michael was chosen for the runner-up award - richly deserved - for the video presentation of his research “The effect of bed and fluid properties on capillary pressure and its impact on the hydrodynamic modelling of heap leaching systems”.
