PROJECT TITLE: Sugar-derived platform chemicals in South Africa: an analytical investigation
Amna exhibits two profound life-passions: People and Learning. As an MSc student within CeBER, she finds opportunity to exercise both. Her inquisitive nature has led her to a variety of learning spaces with subjects that include business, psychology, English literature and astrophysics – all of these in addition to her primary studies in Bioprocess Engineering. Amna’s keen desire to give back to society has already seen her become the Head of Speakers for TedxUCT in 2016 as well as one of the organisers of CeBER Research Day. In her spare time, you will either find Amna with her nose in a book or taking in the ocean breeze.
